As soon as the parasols are planted, all the little ones want to do is take a dip! No sooner have you said yes than they’re safely in the water under the watchful eye of the lifeguards. Once the swim is over, the children race to the towel. Luckily, the totem animals are there to help them find their way back. Between sandcastle and kite-flying activities, the large beach to the north of Châtelaillon quickly became their new playground. In just a few hours, they’ve already made some new friends!

        A not-to-be-missed spring event

        Every year, the Châtelaillon-Plage Kite and Wind Festival delights the whole family at Easter weekend!

        Join us on 4, 5 and 6 April 2026 for a festive family weekend!

        At the foot of the casino, the central beach

        Sea or town, there’s no need to choose in Châtelaillon! Everything is within easy reach from the central beach. Put your towel down in front of the beautiful facade of the casino and enjoy urban comfort with your feet in the sand.

                    To the south of the beach at Châtelaillon, the water sports centre and its surroundings are a sportsman’s playground! On the sand, the activities and facilities are often free and give you the freedom to work out at any time of day. From yoga at dawn to jogging at the end of the day, alone or in a team, the choice is yours! As for summer, it heralds the inevitable beach volleyball tournaments. Or perhaps you’d prefer to take to the open seas with a sailing or paddle course at the yacht club?
