Local professionalisation programme

The local professionalisation programme (PLP) brings together the key players in the Châtellerault destination to organise joint meetings, themed workshops and discovery days (eductours). Its aim is to equip the region’s socio-economic players with the tools and knowledge they need to provide excellent tourist services.

Through free themed workshops given by recognised professionals in their field throughout the year, you can develop your skills and improve your performance.

All these workshops are FREE, and available to all resort professionals.

What are the aims of the programme?

  • To structure and energise the network of local players
  • Encourage the development of skills among professionals in the destination
  • Propose practical solutions to your challenges, whether they relate to digital, communication, knowledge of the region or the energy transition

Who is this programme aimed at?

The training courses and workshops are aimed at restaurant owners, accommodation providers, managers of activity or leisure sites… all sectors involved in welcoming tourists. These workshops are offered free of charge, as a toolbox to help your business :

    In this workshop, you will learn how to master the most visible short formats: Reels, Stories or Shorts. You will discover their codes (vertical format, rhythm, sound) and choose subjects that are suited to your business. Step by step, you’ll be guided through shooting with your smartphone, stabilising the image and taking care with framing and lighting. You will then be able to edit your footage quickly and easily using CapCut, adding text, music and transitions. This will take you beyond

    ? For this first tour, we invite you to discover Fort Enet, accessible on foot at low tide via a 1.6 km pass between the oyster beds of the Pointe de la Fumée. Listed as a Historic Monument since 1994, this private fort reveals its casemates, convicts’ cells, officers’ bedrooms and ammunition shop, while offering an exceptional view of Fort Boyard and the Ile d’Aix. Guided by local experts, you will explore the site for around 2 hours, enhancing your knowledge of the destination and optimising your tourism offer.
