Ready for the last swim of the year?

La Baignade des banquisards has become a veritable châtelaillonnaise institution. More than 500 crazy bathers gather on the beach for the first swim of the year. It’s a great way to welcome in the new year.

A crazy gamble

The bet is as follows: dive into water at 15°. Are you up for it?
Then pick out your best costume – bee, superhero or old-fashioned bather – get your best friends together and meet them on the beach at Châtelaillon-Plage for this crazy rendezvous! Laughter and good humour guaranteed!

Of course, you don’t dive into cold water without warming up. Claudie, our superwoman, will come and train you… a bit of zumba, jogging, stretching and off you go!

Swimming for a good cause

Having fun and winning a crazy bet is great, but when it’s for a good cause, it’s even better! Thanks to a partnership with the Casino de Châtelaillon, a cheque will be given to an association to support their future activities.
