Every Easter weekend, strange creatures come to life on the beach at Châtelaillon! It’s the start of the magnificent International Kite and Wind Festival. From the United States, Holland and Japan, enthusiasts arrive from all over the world to witness this extraordinary spectacle. For 3 days, the resort’s skies will be filled with all manner of colours! From giant octopuses to fierce rokkaku battles, the magic happens every time. A not-to-be-missed event that also marks the start of the season for the resort.

A garage sale full of surprises

Boulevards, more than 400 participants and lots of treasures to unearth: it’s the Sainte-Germaine garage sale at the beginning of June! Every year, this flea market delights both amateur bargain hunters and regular bargain hunters. Don’t hesitate to browse through the toys, furniture and decorative items on offer, and you’ll be sure to fall in love!

With their incomparable expertise, mussel and oyster farmers are part of the very soul of the resort. And they deserved an event! At the beginning of August, mussel farmers and locals get together for a simple, festive day to celebrate their passion for their heritage. With a giant barbecue, craft market and traditional games, you’re right at the heart of the Châtelaillonnais spirit.
