The Châtelaillon-Plage Community Tourist Office has been committed to a quality approach since 2012. We were certified Qualité Tourisme™ on 12 September 2012, a label that we have renewed three times.

What was the Qualité Tourisme™ mark?

Created by the State, this mark aimed to improve the welcome and services offered to tourists in France.
It was the only official mark recognised by the State, awarded to tourism professionals for the quality of their welcome and services.

Restaurants, accommodation, places to visit, leisure activities, tourist offices, rental agencies, etc.: more than 5,000 establishments displayed this voluntary commitment to excellence.

And what about today?

Since 2024, Qualité Tourisme™ has been evolving and becoming Destination d’Excellence, a new national scheme that goes further.
It retains the reception quality requirements and adds new commitments:

> An accessible and inclusive welcome for all.

> An eco-responsible approach, with concrete actions in favour of the environment.
